Tablets have met with great success immediately and multiplied in all homes. Their adoption in business is much more timid hand. The reluctance of CIOs to adopt these devices can be explained by several reasons. Tablets raise safety issues and provide a cultural revolution by both their use and their new full touch interface. Above all, they were so far adapted to family use only.
A new generation ready for anything
But, like the Latitude 10 Venue Pro 8 (see photo above) and Dell Venue Pro 11, a new generation of tablets today promises to transform the mobile business landscape. Called "professional tablet", they are designed for all purposes whether personal or professional.
Work productively with a memory and a compatible power with serious uses adapted for professional use, maintain compatibility with the existing register in a security policy information system, but also to play: these are the targets set by the new generation, which nevertheless retains usability, mobility and immediacy that have made the quality of tablets.
Professional skills
Especially that they offer real solutions "business". Their interest is undeniable in areas such as customer reception, reading inventory, medical monitoring, writing prescriptions, digital signing receipts or legal documents, support for mobile sales forces, interactive brochures, replacement of technical documentation on paper, etc..
One question remains though. These new tablets can they be a real alternative to PC? CIOs can they consider renewing their fleet of old notebooks by tablets? So far, it is recognized that only the "No" was necessary. But with this new generation of tablets "Pro", the situation changed
