Microsoft will display alerts to prompt the latest Windows XP users to upgrade to Windows 8


Here is the new technique that Microsoft could use to remind you that the Windows XP operating system is obsolete.

As you already know, Microsoft decided to start the process end of life of Windows XP. Repeatedly praised for its stability, the old operating system is still used by a wide audience.

38% of respondents still said they would migrate to Windows 7. Only 5% said they would choose option 8 or Windows 8.1. And 37% of respondents said they would continue to use Windows XP despite the end of support. 11% say even consider Linux option.
