'XP Mode in Windows 7 will also support ended on April 8

According to Microsoft, the 'Mode Windows XP 'in Windows 7 will also have the support ended on April 8. The move follows the decision not to provide further updates to the old operating system launched 13 years ago. However, according to the manufacturer's own Windows, users do not need to dispose of the appeal, just stop using the 'XP mode' connected to the Internet.

The 'Windows XP Mode' was one of the novelties presented by Microsoft to launch Windows 7 as a way to encourage people to migrate to the system after the failure of Windows Vista . At the time, the company said the feature guarantee full compatibility of old programs with the new operating system, avoiding the headaches faced with Vista.

Enable 'God Mode' in Windows 7.
Available only for Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise and Ultimate, the 'Windows XP Mode' can still be downloaded from the Downloads emulator Windows Virtual PC . With emulator Windows Virtual PC, you can install programs specifically to run the old version of operating system, which will be available in the Windows 7 Start menu and can also be run outside the virtual machine.

Microsoft, however, recommends that users only use the Windows 7 'XP mode from April 8 if your computer is disconnected, since the company will not release more security updates and this should put the system in risk.

However, if they choose to leave the function, users should not have major difficulties, since most programs are compatible with the latest versions of the system, which led the company to withdraw the function of the new Windows 8, for instance.
