Pictures relayed by SamMobile show the A8 Samsung Galaxy seems somewhat similar to Galaxy A7, while being a bit bigger.

Apparently, the smartphone would have a metal frame as previous smartphones of the Series A and according to the source, it would weigh 140 grams, and would measure 157.7 x 76.7 x 5.9 mm. If the measurements are accurate, this would make it the thinnest smartphone that Samsung has ever made.

For a powerful mid-range
The leak also provides some smartphone features, and these largely reflect what we had previously heard. The A8 should have a Super AMOLED 5.7 inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 615 Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel rear camera, a front camera of 5 megapixels, a battery 3050 mAh, 16 GB of internal storage and a micro SD card slot. Android 5.1.1 would be the OS pre-installed.

It could also have a fingerprint sensor.

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy A8 promises to be quite impressive for a midrange smartphone , assuming the price is right. Unfortunately, there is no information on the latter, let alone when we will see. But one can imagine that it is close to being announced.
